It has been reported that the key requirements for obtaining a visa include a round-trip flight ticket booked on national airlines and a written undertaking that the visit visa will not be converted into a residence permit, with these conversions subject to approval by the Department of Residence Affairs. reported an increase in visa applications, particularly in Farwaniya and Havilah governorates, citing the demand and interest generated by the new policy.
The ministry has clarified that medical treatment for visitors will be available in private health centers and hospitals, government hospitals are reserved for those who are overstaying their visas, legal action will be taken for overstay violations.
