4 Palestinians martyred by Israel’s bombing of an aid convoy in Gaza
Gaza: The American humanitarian organization INERA has said that Israel bombed an aid convoy carrying food and fuel to a hospital in Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 Palestinians.
According to the report of the foreign news agency, the charity said that Israel killed the four Palestinians who were riding in the vehicles of the aid convoy that were going to the Emirate Red Crescent Hospital in Rafah, southern Gaza.
The charity said that as the convoy left for Gaza from the Israeli-controlled area of Kerim Shalom, four Palestinians took control of the vehicles and expressed concerns that the route was not safe.
The statement added that Israeli authorities have alleged that the occupants of the car were armed, although reports from the scene did not even suspect the presence of weapons.
The American organization rejected the Israeli accusations, saying that it had been agreed with the Israeli authorities that the convoy would have unarmed security guards. They were not considered a threat.
Expressing concern over the Israeli bombardment, the statement said that many warnings or reports were not given before the attack, no member of the organization was injured in the attack, while relief goods were delivered despite 4 martyrdoms.
It should be noted that Israel has killed more than 40,000 Palestinians and injured thousands more in brutal operations in the Gaza war that started on October 7, 2023, and more than 2.3 million people have been displaced.
