Indian Air Force MiG-29 plane crashed
New Delhi: A MiG-29 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force has crashed in the state of Rajasthan.
According to the Indian media report, the MiG-29 aircraft assigned for the training mission had an accident in the Bar Mir sector of the state of Rajasthan. The pilot had ejected himself safely before the aircraft fell to the ground.
After the plane crashed, a fire broke out in it, to extinguish which the fire brigade and rescue volunteers have reached the spot for rescue operations.
The Indian Air Force has confirmed the crash of the plane and called it a technical fault, but has also formed a committee for further investigation.
In the statement issued by the Indian Air Force, it has also been stated that there was no loss of life in the event of the plane crash, however, an investigation committee has been formed to examine the aspects of technical failure.
It should be noted that earlier in June, a Sukhoi plane of the Indian Air Force had crashed in Nashik district, but in that too the pilot and his assistant had pulled themselves out in time.
