Indian Border Security Force fires on Bangladeshi family; The girl died
New Delhi/Dhaka: An eighth grade student was killed while three others were injured in firing by the Border Security Force of the Indian Army on the Bangladesh border.
According to Kashmir Media Service, this incident took place in Sharifpur, a border area of ​​Bangladesh, where the Indian Border Security Force fired indiscriminately on a family without asking for identification.
Indian Border Security seized the body of the girl who was killed in firing while the injured were forced to take shelter in Lalarchak village.
Later, the villagers with their help shifted the injured to a hospital in Sylhet, where the condition of one of the injured is said to be critical.
The Bangladeshi Border Force confirmed the incident and said that India refused to hand over the body even after the truth came out. Parents are forced to hunt for the dead body of their liver.
The deceased student, identified as Surana Das, was crossing the border with her mother Sanjita Rani Das and a relative couple from Chittagong to meet her brother Parendra Das, who lives in Tripura.
A spokesman for the Indian Border Security Force says the family was trying to cross the border illegally into the Indian state of Tripura and did not stop despite warnings.
