Taking a historic step for overseas Pakistanis, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif launched a new plan for remittances of Pakistanis from Arab countries. According to the details, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif launched the Buna/Raast connectivity project in Islamabad, under the project, Pakistan’s digital payment system Raast was connected with Buna established under the Arab Monetary Fund.
It has been reported that the implementation of a fast, effective and low-cost plan to send funds to overseas Pakistanis has started with the project. By linking the direct initiative with Bona, the facility of sending funds to millions of Pakistanis living in Arab countries is facilitated in a fast, effective and low-cost manner.
