Water condition in rivers and reservoirs
The inflow and outflow of water in Tarbela, Mangala and Chashma reservoirs, their level and the flow of water in the barrages were as follows.
The inflow at Tarbela in the Indus River was 155 thousand 600 cusecs and the outflow was 155 thousand 100 cusecs. Inflow at Nowshera in Kabul river 43 thousand 600 cusecs and outflow 43 thousand 600 cusecs, Khairabad bridge inflow 1 lakh 76 thousand 700 cusecs, discharge 1 lakh 76 thousand 700 cusecs, arrival at Mangala in Jhelum 20 thousand 300 cusecs and discharge 8 thousand cusecs, At Marala in Chenab, the inflow was 60 thousand 800 cusecs and the outflow was 32 thousand 900 cusecs.
Jinnah barrage inflow 2 lakh 9 thousand 700 cusecs and discharge 2 lakh 3 thousand 400 cusecs, Chishma 2 lakh 42 thousand 100 cusecs and discharge 2 lakh cusecs, Taunsa inflow 2 lakh 17 thousand 700 cusecs and discharge 2 lakh 5 thousand 700 cusecs, Gadu inflow 3 lakhs 74 thousand 800 cusecs and output 3 lakh 71 thousand 300 cusecs, Sukkur inflow 3 lakh 74 thousand 600 cusecs and output 3 lakh 67 thousand 500 cusecs, Kotri inflow 2 lakh 86 thousand 700 cusecs and output 2 lakh 64 thousand 500 cusecs, Trimu Amad 52 thousand 100 cusecs and export 41 thousand 700 cusecs, arrival 69 thousand 200 cusecs and export 61 thousand 200 cusecs were recorded.
In the reservoir, minimum operating level of Tarbela is 1402 feet, current water level is 1550.00 feet, maximum water storage level is 1550 feet and today usable water storage is 5.766 million acre feet, minimum operating level of Mangala is 1050 feet, current water level is 1216.35 , the maximum water storage level is 1242 feet and the usable water storage is 5.347 million acre feet while the minimum operating level of the spring is 638.15 feet, the current water level is 647.10 feet, the maximum water storage level is 649 feet and the usable water storage 0.217 million acre feet. The inflow and outflow of water into the Indus River at Tarbela and Chashma, the Kabul River at Nowshera and the Jhelum River at Mangla are in the form of a 24-hour average flow.
