Chat filter feature of WhatsApp is in progress

California: Instant messaging application WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow users to add specific chats to a list of their own.

According to a report by WhatsApp Beta Info, these user-created lists will be labeled in the app with the labels ‘All’, ‘Unread’ and ‘Groups’. The filter will have the same name as the list and when it is selected If clicked, the individual and group chats included in this list will appear.

The company has introduced this feature in version 2.24.18.16 of the WhatsApp Android beta app. However, it is still in completion stages and not released to all users even on beta platform.
