PTA introduced online service for VPN registration

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched online service of VPN registration for uninterrupted provision of internet.

The PTA said that VPNs of software houses, call centers, freelancers and foreign missions/embassies should be installed on PTA and PSEB websites to ensure uninterrupted and secure business operations. Registration is done under “one window” operations available on the site.

This is an ongoing activity which is being continuously improved by PTA, Ministry of Information Technology (MOIT), PSEB and PASHA, the statement said.
